At Living Stones, we love kids, and we love playing a role in their journey toward knowing Jesus!

In LSC KIDS!, kids from birth through the 3rd grade take an exciting journey every Sunday to discover new truths about the God who created them and loves them madly!  We believe that when Kids experience God and connect with peers and adults it will then lead to reinforce for them that God loves them, is always there for them, and will never leave them.

nursery 0 - 24 months

In LSC Kids! we believe that even our smallest of babies and young toddlers (newborn-24 months) can learn and experience God's love at the earliest of stages in life.  We strive for all of the babies in our care during a church service to know and feel safe in our environment and we consistently respond to their needs, helping them establish the emotion of trust so that they will be able to bond, grow, and trust people & God. Each week babies enjoy sitting in our moon-shaped high chair table together, munching cheerios and patting the Bible, singing songs, and engaging with our volunteers in a short devotional time created just for them to experience God's love through.

2 - 3 year olds

In the LSC Kids! Toddler classroom, kiddos are encouraged to explore new experiences and try new things all while assisting in developing confidence in themselves and in the fact there is a God that made them and loves them. Each week toddlers (ages 2-3 years old) participate in music & dance to engage in worshipping God as well as hands on arts & activities that correspond to the Bible lesson being taught that Sunday.

pre-k 4-5 year olds

LSC Kids! Preschoolers participate through movement, music, and hands on experiences in their classroom repeatedly and therefore know that no matter what God is with them, loves them, and is bigger than anything else.  Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on one of three simple, but powerful truths:  God Made Me; God Loves Me; Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever.  We are excited to be teaching from the Orange, First Look Curriculum - which is constructed to incite wonder in a preschooler and meet them where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and socially.  Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know the three basic truths.

Elementary Age

LSC Kids! Kindergarten - 3rd Grade classes are based around a 'small group' format.  We strive for during LSCKids time to engage each child in their small group with peers and adults where they can share openly about their personal life; connecting how God is working in them and around them, they can be encouraged, and know they are loved unconditionally & never alone because God is and always will be with them.  We use Orange 252 Kids curriculum for all of our large and small group material - which is based on one of the three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52; I need to make the wise choice.  I can trust God no matter what.  I should treat others the way I want to be treated.  252 Kids is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus.

Classroom assignments

In LSC Kids! we have our Elementary Age Kiddos split up into two different classrooms so that they can get the most out of their time with us by engaging in their curriculum and small group time with their peers.

Our Kindergarten - 1st graders  enjoy their games and lesson in a space all their own complete with comfy bench seats and play area, and then join the 2nd - 3rd graders for their large group worship down in the community room.

Our 2nd - 3rd graders enjoy the colorful community room where they can split up for small groups around a chalk board, enjoy games in the open space, and worship together around the staged area.

Look for the colorful hanging 'dots' in the hallway to direct you to your child's room after checking in at the welcome desk!
