Lead Pastor

Sam’s as hometown as they come - a Riley grad who grew up just two blocks from the church, he’s got church directory pics to prove he was born here. Sam went to Harding University for his undergrad in Biblical Studies, and Abilene Christian University for his Masters in Divinity. He and his wife Kelly have three kids, Alexandria (16), Caleb (18), and Isaac (21). Some authors who have influence Sam include Dallas Willard, Richard Foster, John Howard Yoder, and NT Wright. Walking through the diagnosis and healing of his son Isaac’s (at age 2) cancer was perhaps the most life changing event for Sam. “I think Living Stoners are the awesome-est because of their down-to-earth and real spirituality. They are screwed up and know they are screwed up. And Jesus seems to like that best.” Sam likes to read, binge watch seasons on Netflix, eat out (cheese fries!), go to Disney World and hang out in cemeteries.

    Director of Communications and Projects

Jennae’s been on staff the longest, after Sam, which means she has great ‘Sam endurance’ ;) She keeps things rolling in the communication department, while getting to use her creativity in the graphics, design, and all things visual, as well as incorporate her social justice leanings in outreach at Living Stones. “I love our beautiful mess of a people, Living Stoners. Grace is played out here in a real, rubber meets the road kind of way.” A mom of two girls, Lyrica (14) and Arleigh (9), she stays busy immersing them in the outdoors with camping, boating, biking and hiking.

    Director of Student Ministries

Meredith has worked with children for 16+ years beginning in a preschool as teacher and then director, and in children’s ministry. She’s always loved children, but the at-risk children of the south side changed her heart forever. Meredith is married to Jim and mom to 3 year old, Coraline Wren! “I love that you don't have to put on a face to walk in the doors here, we are the most real group of people I have ever had the experience to worship and work with.” Meredith loves all the outdoors stuff like camping and hiking, photography, her big St. Bernard puppy, and anatomical heart tattoos.

    Director of Ministries and Administration

Angie, the chemist amongst us, is a Purdue grad (don’t hold that against her), wife to Sky and mom to Mara (18), Allison (16) and Seth (12). She takes on the major task of keeping us all organized and on track, then goes home and does the same for her family! “I love Living Stones’ passion to serve the South Side!” When she’s not running a 1/2 marathon, or running her kids all over, she’s photographing a wedding or watching college football (Boiler Up!).

    Director of Worship Ministry

Isaac grew up in this church, and is in fact, Sam’s oldest son. He’s attended three colleges in two years, and is now on a break till he finds the right one - we get the benefit of having him lead worship until he does! "I love LSC because it brings people of all different walks of life and worldview together to worship and serve the same awesome God.” Isaac is a true Beatles historian. When he’s not listening to music or playing one of many instruments he enjoys, you’ll probably find him eating Mexican food!

    Director of Children's Ministry

Jenn comes from the marketing and event planning world and is certified in early childhood education. Married to Chris, she is mom to Libby (19), step-mom to Colleen (15) and Gabby (12) and has a slew of pets: dog, Gus (the jerk!), cats, Twig, Jax, and Biscuit Jones, and a fish named Hilary that was supposed to be dead by now! “Living Stones is unlike any church I’ve ever been to - everyone has a story, past mistakes, flaws, challenges - but when you come to Living Stones, none of that matters. Living Stones feels like home!” Jenn loves books, collecting more than she has time to read. Keep your eye out too - she loves musical theatre and has been know to popup locally onstage or backstage!
